Don’t Drink … Gamble!

If you like to have a drink ever so often, keep your money out of the casino if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your evening bag, your wallet, and leave all money, charge cards and cheques back at the hotel. Grab only the money you intend to spend on beverages, tipping and only the pocket change you anticipate to lose and leave the rest behind.

Cynical? Not at all. Realistic more like. You may well experience a success following a drunken night out with your buddies and be blessed enough to hit a 25 minute roll at a hot craps table. Don’t forget that adventure seeing that it’s as short-lived as it gets if you continuously drink alcohol and wager. These activities simply don’t go well together.

Leaving your moola back at the hotel is a little drastic, but defensive measures for dramatic behavior is compulsory. If you bet to succeed, then do not consume alcohol and play. If you can afford to throw away your $$$$ nary a concern, then drink all the gratuitous booze your stomach can handle, but don’t pack charge cards and chequebooks to toss into the mix of following losses after your bombed brain squanders all the cash!

Permit me to carry this one step more. Don’t drink and then head on the web to bet in your best-liked internet casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the coziness of my home, but seeing that I am connected through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards near by, I can not consume alcohol and wager.

What’s the reason? Although I do not drink alcohol to excess, when I drink, it is clearly adequate to cloud my better judgment. I wager, so I do not drink alcohol when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, don’t gamble at the same time. Both create a ferocious, and costly, cocktail.
